We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our client's operations in the oil and gas sector
Agilus is recruiting for a Administrative Assistant in the Oil and Gas Industry in Edmonton, Alberta.
The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative support within industrial or technical environments and a strong understanding of safety protocols and office coordination.
A typical day:
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
Assist with safety administration, including scheduling training, maintaining PPE inventory, and tracking certifications
Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal departments to support operational needs.
Adjusting PO’s and PM extensions
Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as required.
Shipping packages through various companies
Calendar management, scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, booking lunches and coordinating events
Successful candidates will have:
3+ years of administrative experience, preferably in the oil and gas or industrial secto
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Working knowledge of SAP would be a plus and beneficial.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Total rewards:
Contract position until July 2027
Location: Edmonton East
Pay rate: $27 - $32 (depending on experience)
Start: ASAP
Monday to Friday in office
