Agilus is recruiting for a Junior Electrical Designer in the Engineering Industry in Windsor, Ontario. Our engineering client is hiring for an Electrical Designer to join their team on a full time basis. In this role you will support a variety of engineering projects and conduct detailed designs for electrical systems and components. A typical day: Develop electrical schematics and layouts (SLD, lighting, power distribution, etc.) Prepare technical reports (Ex. power studies, ArcFlash) for senior review. Conduct field checks for data gathering and verification. Support construction administration and system commissioning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals. Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards, Contribute to continuous improvement and team success. Successful candidates will have: Bachelor's degree in engineering or technologist diploma (electrical focus). Minimum 1 year of experience in an engineering environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with CEC, OESC, ESA, CSA standards. Ability to perform fieldwork independently in various environments. Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. Valid Canadian driver's license and ability to obtain U.S. work permit.
