Agilus is recruiting for a Instrumentation & Electrical Planner in the oil & gas industry in Nanticoke, Ontario. Our client is looking for a Instrumentation & Electrical Planner to join their team in Nanticoke. This role is a 2 year contract with the opportunity for extension. A typical day: Responsible for planning all TA instrumentation & electrical scope on assigned areas. Planning of routine maintenance &/or turnaround jobs. Support maintenance, Turnaround, majors & projects when required. Support development of work scopes including equipment requests and execution methods. Prepares work schedule and cost estimates. Negotiates due dates with customer optimizing work execution considering operations, TA and maintenance priorities. Effectively communicates work plans to contractors, FLS and Technicians. Communicate job requirements to the field execution team and support any questions and plan upgrades. Successful candidates will have: Extensive refinery experience with an interest and aptitude for maintenance work and demonstrated leadership capability. Prior Planning experience is ideal Ability to read, write engineering drawings, P&ID schematics etc. Ability to use SAP, Primavera, or Microsoft Project Background in Electrical & Instrumentation.
