Our valued Federal Government client is currently seeking a Senior Special Advisor to provide advice and direct support on the development of Cyberspace intelligence training program. This is an ONSITE 1+ year contract role in Ottawa.
Roles and Responsibilities
- The contractors will assist in the review of the Junior Cyber Intelligence Analyst Qualification Standard & Training Plan, develop options for delivery, and design course schedule in accordance with departmental training standards
- The contractors will assist the departmental staff in the development of course materials and evaluations based on the Junior Cyber Intelligence Analyst Training Plan and the outcome of the options analysis decision in Task #1.
- In collaboration with departmental staff and other stakeholders, contractors will deliver the Junior Cyber Intelligence Analyst course.
Qualifications and Skills
- Five (5) years’ experience, within the past ten (10) years, as an intelligence practitioner within a Government of Canada security or defence organization.
- Three (3) years’ experience, within the past ten (10) years, supporting capability development or capability deployment operations/activities, as related to the convergence of cyberspace operations, intelligence, or targeting in a cyber organization
- Demonstrate completion of Cyber Threat Intelligence training from a recognized institution such as SANS, FVEY partners, NATO Centre of Excellence for Cybersecurity, NATO Communications & Information Agency, etc
- Within the last 5 years, 3 projects in the field of Cyber Intelligence training development, cyber exercises, personnel evaluations, and innovation
Education
Degree/Diploma in a relevant field is required
