Our client, a respected organization in the broader public sector, is seeking an experienced HR/Recruitment Coordinator to join their team on a 6-month contract. This role supports a high-volume recruitment environment, ensuring smooth and efficient hiring processes. The position is hybrid, with in-office work required in Mississauga and occasional travel to other office locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Review a high volume of applications for multiple resource roles, primarily within operational positions.
Coordinate and schedule high-volume interviews.
Coordinate and facilitate candidate testing and assessments during recruitment events.
Manage candidate logistics such as greeting candidates and collecting materials during in-person interviews.
Send reference requests to a 3rd party provider and conduct/review reference checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support managers in moving candidates through the SAP SuccessFactors ATS pipeline and assist with issuing offer letters.
Monitor and track candidate progress in SAP SuccessFactors.
Provide administrative support to the Talent Team and hiring managers throughout the recruitment cycle.
Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Excel spreadsheets, ensuring meticulous record keeping and data accuracy.
Prepare recruitment-related documentation, reports, and correspondence.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Utilize advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data filtering, sorting, and validation to compile and analyze recruitment data.
Assist with other recruitment activities across various divisions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in a recruitment or HR support role, ideally in a high-volume environment.
Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other ATS systems.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, sorting, filtering, and data validation.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and colleagues.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Adaptable to changing priorities and schedules.
Willingness and ability to travel to other office locations as required.
