About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced System Architect to lead application architecture initiatives, define roadmaps, and ensure alignment with enterprise strategies. You will oversee system design, modernization, and integration, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, architecture, and roadmap for enterprise applications.
Develop and maintain architecture artifacts (UML diagrams, design docs, ADRs).
Guide teams in using enterprise frameworks, patterns, and standards.
Conduct architecture reviews to ensure best practices and consistency.
Collaborate with developers, technical leads, and other architects on integration and modernization efforts.
Define non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, and security.
Oversee structured and unstructured data design, storage, and access strategies.
Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and risk assessment.
Requirements
Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years’ application development experience and 2+ years in application architecture.
Expertise in .NET/C#, ASP.NET, and Azure environments.
Strong knowledge of architectural frameworks and methodologies (REST, SOA, microservices).
Proficiency in SQL Server and database design.
Experience with UML and other modeling notations.
Strong understanding of design patterns, clean architecture, and API design.
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
