Job Title: Recruiter
Contract Length: 6 Months (High Potential for Extension)
Location: Hybrid – Downtown Toronto (3 Days On-Site per Week)
Compensation: Up to $35/hour
We’re currently seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our client’s fast-paced, dynamic talent acquisition team. This is an exciting opportunity to support a leading organization through a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
This is a hybrid role based in downtown Toronto, requiring three days per week on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver end-to-end recruitment services aligned with established processes, standards, and systems
Manage full-cycle recruiting for complex and/or high-level positions across technical and business functions
Independently develop and execute sourcing strategies to maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
Engage in strategic recruitment efforts using networking, targeted outreach, and deep market knowledge
Provide guidance to hiring managers and business leaders as a subject matter expert in recruitment
Identify and implement solutions to overcome recruitment challenges and optimize hiring practices
Screen and engage candidates, advise hiring teams, and manage offer negotiations through to hire
Lead consensus meetings with stakeholders to drive alignment on candidate decisions
Ensure all recruitment activity is executed with a high level of detail, professionalism, and urgency
Required Qualifications:
3–5 years of full life-cycle recruitment experience in a corporate or agency environment
1–2 years of strategic recruitment planning and stakeholder engagement
Proven ability to work independently and drive hiring outcomes in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
Strong communication and influencing skills—both written and verbal
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Bonus: Experience recruiting for U.S.-based roles or companies is a strong asset and highly desirable
