Salary: From 50 to 70 per Hour
 

Remote (Canada – preference for Toronto, Ottawa, or Montreal)
Type: Contract – 6 months (with 2 optional 6-month renewals)

Overview:
Our client is undertaking a major ERP modernization project, migrating from a customized SAP On-Premise system to Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP. We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with a strong background in backend integration and cloud-native development.

The ideal candidate is highly experienced with C#, Azure Functions, and REST APIs, and has hands-on experience working with ERP systems. Candidates with previous experience at Rogers, Bell, or Telus will be prioritized.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based integration services and APIs

  • Build scalable and secure solutions using Azure Functions and Durable Functions

  • Integrate SAP On-Premise systems with Oracle Cloud ERP and external applications

  • Develop REST APIs with OAuth 2.0 authentication and JSON payloads

  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues

  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver on project milestones

  • Provide guidance to junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions

  • Follow Git version control and adhere to source code quality best practices


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in backend software development

  • Strong experience with C# (.NET 8), Azure Functions, and Durable Functions

  • Proven ability to build and manage REST APIs, including security protocols (OAuth 2.0)

  • Familiarity with SAP environments and integration patterns (e.g., IDocs, BAPIs)

  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP is an asset

  • Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced Agile or Scrum environments

  • Bilingual (English and French) is a strong asset

  • Telecommunications industry experience (Rogers, Bell, Telus) is highly preferred
