Agilus is recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Assistant in the Educational Field in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta. The Accounts Receivable Assistant is responsible for managing invoicing, monitoring account balances, and performing journal entries to support the college’s financial operations. A typical day: Creating and processing invoices for tuition, product sales, and partnerships; ensuring accurate GST application and revenue coding. Verifying daily bank deposits, reconciling chargebacks, and preparing journal entries for interdepartmental sales. Setting up new customers in the system and updating customer files Providing backup for the AR/General Accounting Administrator and assisting with audits and account clean-up. Tracking and recording loans and grants Successful candidates will have: 2-3 years of Accounts Receivables work experience Strong Excel and accounting systems Excellent data entry skill with strong attention to detail Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently Ability to meet deadlines and work in fast pace environment Able to manage confidential information and documents Total rewards: 10 months contracts position, until June 2026 Pay rate: $24-$26 (depending on relevant experience) Location: Downtown Core business hours: 7.25 hours a day, can start at 8am or 8:30am Hybrid work model – Thursday and Fridays in-office- training and onboarding will fully in office Let's connect!
