Our federal government client is seeking a Life Cycle Management Specialist to support the integration, coordination, and sustainment of a dual rotary-wing aircraft fleet. This role focuses on configuration management, maintenance program analysis, airworthiness support, and technical documentation to ensure operational readiness and effective fleet management.

Tasks
Coordinate integration and support activities with internal teams, original equipment manufacturers, and external stakeholders
Provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance to support fleet operations and maintenance activities
Perform configuration management and oversee changes to technical and operational documentation
Analyze maintenance programs and repair or overhaul requirements to support fleet readiness
Review and update material and equipment specifications and work instructions
Conduct cost option analyses for systems and equipment and provide recommendations for efficiency improvements
Draft, modify, and maintain technical documents including manuals, instructions, and airworthiness publications
Investigate and resolve technical and logistical issues by providing solutions and recommendations
Review and process reports such as statements of capability deficiency, unsatisfactory condition reports, and pre-installation failures
Assess and document engineering change proposals, special inspections, and modification instructions
Support quality management processes, participate in audits, and recommend corrective action plans
Track and manage aircraft parts, inventory levels, and disposal documentation
Enter and verify data in resource and materials management systems to maintain accurate records
Prepare and deliver technical presentations, meeting notes, and reports for stakeholders
Lead or participate in meetings, working groups, and technical reviews to support fleet sustainment and operational goals
Qualifications
University degree or College Diploma in engineering, technology, or a related field, with professional certification considered an asset
Minimum of 3 years of experience applying civil or military airworthiness regulations in North America
Demonstrated experience in material and configuration management for civilian or military rotary-wing aviation
Proven experience with airworthiness documentation such as impact assessments, unsatisfactory condition reports, and special inspections
Experience in supply chain management for aircraft parts, including stock management, audits, and obsolescence mitigation
Knowledge of configuration management principles and dual-fleet rotary-wing operations
Strong technical writing skills for manuals, instructions, and operational documentation
Familiarity with quality management processes, risk assessments, and audit participation
Proficiency in resource management and technical documentation systems
Ability to work on-site with occasional travel, and capable of handling sensitive and controlled information
