We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager with 3–5 years of hands-on project management experience, and at least 10 years of overall professional experience in the IT space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading complex, cross-functional projects that include both technical components and organizational change management.
This individual must bring excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. PROSCI certification or equivalent experience in change management is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver complex IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Manage both technical implementations and organizational change activities to drive adoption and ensure project success.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across business units, technical teams, and executive leadership.
- Develop and execute project plans, risk assessments, change management strategies, and stakeholder communications.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and relationship manager, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
- Apply change management principles (preferably PROSCI) to ensure successful transitions and sustainable outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of total experience in IT, with at least 3–5 years of hands-on Project Management.
- Proven track record leading complex, multi-stakeholder IT projects with both business and technical components.
- Change Management experience is essential; PROSCI certification is a strong asset.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments, ideally within large or enterprise-level organizations.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Familiarity with project management tools like MS Project, JIRA, or Smartsheet.
- Background in sectors like financial services, healthcare, or technology is an asset.
