Agilus is recruiting for a Junior Lab Technologist in the Oil and Gas Sector in Christina Lake, Alberta. Our client in Energy Sector is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing results, and ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. A typical day: Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on samples. Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Assist in the development and validation of new laboratory methods and procedures. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory processes. Successful candidates will have: Bachelor’s degree in laboratory technology, Chemistry, or a related field. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory setting. Support lab operation, safety and environmental systems, support stakeholders on projects, R&D and operations optimization, carry out routine and non-routine lab testing and data entry for Operations, MARP, EPAP, Compliance, Regulatory, Production Accounting, Reservoir and Sales Oil Total rewards: Competitive compensation Position through to the end of Dec 2025, most likely longer term.
