The Senior Manager is responsible for leading Bank-wide sourcing and project activities for assigned category portfolio while working closely with senior business unit leadership and other sourcing leaders. The categories will generally be related to Banking Operations and Business Applications/Platforms.

 

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Directly lead and implement best practices in sourcing initiatives.
  • Manage category within and across the Bank's business segments, and serve as a key contributor to a well-developed and evolving supplier management process.
  • Directly lead and implement best practices in sourcing initiatives
  • Collaborate with Business Unit and Operations leaders to fully understand key business drivers, spend drivers, and achieve required support levels
  • Lead business value through the development of high quality and cost-effective supply relationships, while pursuing and championing total cost of ownership (TCO) savings directly by savings captured through leveraging Bank-wide purchasing volume, strategic supplier relationships, demand management or indirect savings realized by driving innovation and or enhancing the overall effectiveness of the supply management process   

 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?  We’d love to work with you if you have:  

  • 5+ Years of Procurement experience within the Financial, Insurance, Government or related industries.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders.
  • Resiliency to adapt to changes and obstacles.
  • Complex negotiation skills (multi-county/cross-business lines.)
  • Spanish speaking would be an asset (optional)
