Agilus is recruiting for several Manufacturing Support Associates in the Life Sciences Industry in Ottawa, Ontario. Our client is a biomedical manufacturing, research, and development company, seeking temporary helpers for a short-term assignment in their warehouse. In this role, you will be working alongside the Intermediate Manufacturing team in the warehouse area of our client’s facility. The assignment will require you to follow repetitive and highly detailed instructions and reach daily quotas to ensure the assignment is completed within the expected timeline. Responsibilities: Careful removal of adhesives from containers/tubes using a designated tool Conduct a detailed inspection before and after removal, ensuring the tube is in acceptable condition and in accordance with the procedural guidelines Ensure tasks are completed quickly and correctly, and quotas are achieved based on output Other misc. duties as may be required Requirements: Steel toe boots are a requirement High School Diploma is a minimum requirement (WES Certificate is required if your education has been obtained outside of Canada) Experience working in a role that requires you to meet quotas, maintain quality standards, and/or understands the volume required to be successful in a manufacturing environment Must be willing to have a background check conducted Strong communication skills are required Soft skills: Ability to work well with others Total compensation: $20.42 hourly Weekly pay 4% pay in lieu of vacation Additional opportunities with Agilus
