We are working with a Federal Government client seeking a Developer to join their team on a part-time basis for a 1-year contract that'll be supporting the modernization of its internal applications and databases in a Microsoft Azure cloud environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Participate in the creation of a plan for modernization of front-end to ReactJS.
  • Design and develop advance insight Power BI reports using Microsoft Power BI, leveraging Microsoft Azure SQL, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Develop SQL queries to extract, transform, and prepare data from Microsoft Azure SQL or SQL Managed Instance to support reporting and analytics requirements within the Power Platform environment.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of a feature-based migration strategy for moving existing applications to the ReactJS framework.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Hold a valid Reliability clearance
  • experience within past 2 years of application development using ReactJS.
  • experience within past 2 years of database development using Microsoft SQL.
  • experience within past 2 years of report development using Microsoft Power BI with interactive dashboards, reports, DAX, Power Query, data modeling concepts, connecting to relational Azure SQL databases and writing SQL queries.
