As part of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Manager, Expense Management, Global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), supports the expense management team in financial planning and forecasting processes. They will play a critical role in the Global Finance organization by conducting financial analysis (ad-hoc, forecast, profit & strategic plan) and supporting insightful, timely and informative financial reporting. The senior manager is also responsible for supporting the Bank's forecast and annual profit planning processes, specific to Expenses and Staffing, maintaining financial models and systems, and preparing effective and insightful presentations for senior executives.

•Strong analytical skills to identify and evaluate trends and other financial information, and to make recommendations to executive management
•Superior communications skills to convey key messages, both verbal and written with a proven track record of building presentation material for a senior executive audience
•Superior Excel spreadsheet skills to update, enhance and develop new models; and superior PowerPoint skills to convey key messages and charts in report presentations to senior management
•Strong inter-personal skills in dealing with all levels of management.
•Sound accounting knowledge to understand accounting performance measurement targets.
•Strong attention to detail in updating and developing financial models, system enhancements and to ensure a consistent quality of reporting to Executive Management
•Experience with Anaplan, financial transformation initiatives and/or project management considered an asset
•Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau and citizen-led automation initiatives (e.g. Alteryx) considered an asset
•Post secondary degree in Finance and Accounting with 5+ years banking experience
•Accounting or post graduate designation (e.g. CPA, MBA or CFA) preferred
•Strong understanding of financial planning and forecasting best practices; broad based understanding of the Bank’s business lines, products, and financial processes an asset
