Our client in the Non-Profit space is hiring a Bilingual Program Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and facilitation of national programs, with an emphasis on inclusivity for groups like BIPOC, persons with disabilities, women, LGBTQ2S+, and new Canadians within their orginzation. The successful candidate will work with both internal teams and Provincial/Territorial Member Organizations to ensure successful program delivery and impact.
This is a part-time hybrid position, working 21 hours per week: 1 day onsite and 2 days remote, starting August 18th in Ottawa. In November, one full-time week of work will be required for an onsite event, which will involve travel to Toronto. All expenses for that week will be covered.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of in-person and virtual programs, workshops, and experiential learning sessions.
- Support member relations through ongoing communication with Member Organizations.
- Manage data gathering and impact tracking, including survey collection and program participation trends.
- Coordinate logistics for events, including travel and hotel bookings.
- Contribute to program research and administrative duties, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Work collaboratively with diverse teams, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Advanced bilingual proficiency in French and English is requried.
- 2-3 years of experience in program coordination, administration, or project management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Previous experience with event management and working in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) principles, with a willingness to further develop expertise in this area.
- Experience with data management, research, and social media.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Post-secondary degree preferred, particularly in education or a related field.
