Position Summary:

Coordinator - International Education, provides a range of administrative and coordination duties for the international education program including school placements, homestay arrangements, communications, and relationship management, as well as financial tracking and data management.

What you bring to the team:

  • Completion of two-year post-secondary education in communications, business administration, or international studies
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in office administration and/or program coordination
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to enable effective communication with students, families and school communities
  • Proven accounting skills
  • Demonstrated diplomacy skills and ability to work in an environment that requires flexibility and respect for privacy
  • Superior attention to detail organization, time management, problem solving, and record keeping skills.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, with strong initiative and ability to work effectively both as a member of a team and independently
  • Capacity to identify emerging problems, seek consultation and make sound decisions
  • Strong technology skills with proficiency in the use of spreadsheet and database programs in keeping with the latest programs supplied by the Board.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle in order to travel and provide service throughout the district
