Our federal government client is seeking a Quality Assurance/Management Specialist to support their technical team by developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management documentation and analysis aligned with industry and organizational standards. This position involves the creation of clear, concise documentation and the support of compliance and continuous improvement initiatives within a structured quality environment.Tasks:Analyze technical content such as laboratory procedures to extract and clearly explain requirementsWrite, revise, and validate documentation for quality management systems including procedures, manuals, and standardsCollect and synthesize information through stakeholder engagement to produce accurate and user-friendly quality materialsReview documents to ensure adherence to formatting, language, and technical standardsDesign layouts for guides and manuals and produce training materials for system usersSupport quality performance evaluations through trend and pattern analysis and identify opportunities for improvementUse publishing and graphics software to produce final quality system documentsStore all documentation in official records management systems in accordance with defined proceduresParticipate in management review meetings, record discussions, and generate draft minutesSubmit monthly status reports outlining tasks completed, challenges encountered, and recommended improvementsPrepare deliverables including quality manuals, reports, and training content in standard digital formatsQualifications:Post-secondary education in science, technology, or engineering from a recognized Canadian institutionMinimum of two years of technical field experienceMinimum of two years of experience writing technical documents or standard operating proceduresMinimum of two years of recent experience working within an ISO 17025, ISO 9001, or ISO 14001 accredited organizationStrong written communication skills with the ability to create and revise structured quality system documentationEligible for and capable of working with confidential and controlled information in secure facilitiesDemonstrated ability to analyze quality performance data and generate actionable insightsSkilled in collaborating with technical authorities and responding to quality assurance requirements
