ADS - ABM Delivery Services Team at BNS is seeking to fill a role as Solution Architect with deep hands on experience in ATM/ABM platforms, self service  including Proflex, Probase, XFS and customization overlays. The ideal candidate will have full-stack development and architecture design experience across hardware and software, transaction processing, networking and financial switches (Connex, FIS, etc).  This role requires extensive collaboration with engineering teams, ATM/ABM vendors, knowledge of PCI/DSS compliance, performance tuning, troubleshooting, security systems assessments across the ATM/ABM software and systems stack.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

 

  • Architect, develop and design end-to-end solutions within the ATM/ABM platform. Includes hardware device interactions (ProSetup XFS), switch communications Connex NDC DCC 911/912 protocol, custom overlays and review technical capabilities of UI/UX layer to support system flows and navigation.
  • Provide hands on development in Proflex, Probase, XFS driver updates, integration testing, hardware and software test bed setup, and ensure successful transaction flows end to end to the banks host financial switch.
  • Lead compliance discussions as required for security, PCI/DSS and compliance regulatory issues
  • Design fault tolerant solutions and collaborate with the vendor and bank cross functional teams (infrastructure, networking, security etc.)
  • Lead code walkthrough sessions to drive the adoption of common design patterns, secure coding practices and minimize future refactoring where needed
  • Collaborate with Diebold Nixdorf and internal stakeholders as needed
  • Customize extended functionality for the ATM/ABM such as NFC Contactless workflows etc.
  • Ensure performance, security and stability of ATM software stack in the production environment
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight to the development and QA engineering team

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator
  • Proven experience as a Desktop Engineer or similar role, with leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and associated components.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with system optimization and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with desktop management tools and software.
  • Ability to recommend areas of operational system and process improvements
  • Demonstrated excellence in documenting complex system level processes and services, and proactively sharing and communicating complex technical and procedural information
  • Sound understanding of general business conditions and practices with ability to think strategically with ability to effectively translate business requirements into effective security solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Windows services, processes and settings
  • Proficiency in conducting performance assessments, identifying warnings and issues, and assessing the means of remedying them. Ability to develop strategies and prioritize performance measures based on identified performance challenges.
  • Ability to interact and effectively communicate technology concepts to senior business managers
