A typical day:
Collaborate with investment operations, IT, and real estate teams to gather and refine business requirements for migrating commercial real estate data to a new investment platform.
Analyze existing data structures and workflows to identify gaps and ensure compatibility with the platform’s data model.
Create and update documentation, such as process flows, data dictionaries, and user guides, to support the project and end-users.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform functionality meets business needs.
Provide training and guidance to end-users to facilitate smooth adoption of the new platform.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in investment operations or asset management, with specific expertise in commercial real estate asset classes (mandatory).
Preference for candidates with prior experience at a pension fund or buy-side investment firm.
Proven experience in data migration projects, ideally involving investment platforms.
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and translate business needs into technical requirements.
