Elections Alberta is an independent, non-partisan office of the Legislature. Elections Alberta is responsible for administering provincial elections, by-elections and referenda. The Administrative Services Coordinator position is responsible for delivering administrative functions that support the services provided by Elections Alberta. This function is essential to the delivery of services with duties that vary considerably in range and complexity. In this role, you will provide a full complement of administrative services. You will be the first point of contact for Elections Alberta, receiving visitors, answering general inquiries from the public, as well as receiving, screening, and directing calls, emails, mail, invoices, and other correspondence and administering the distribution and collection of incoming and outgoing correspondence.
This position is responsible for providing administrative support as requested, including drafting replies to routine correspondence, preparing for meetings and training sessions, and recording meeting minutes. This position is responsible for managing general office administration, including card access, building access and alarms, parking, mailroom, kitchen, and meeting rooms. This is an in-office position located in Edmonton.
