Training Centre Operations at CAE lies at the heart of our commitment to training excellence across Civil Aviation and Defense & Security. Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead a dynamic team of instructional staff that must meet the requirements of FWSAR aircrew contractual training delivery (ie scheduling)
Delivery of the Sensor Operator and TACCO courses
Ensure that training delivered is consistent with training objectives and teaching points in the training plan
Ensure that training delivered is consistent with training objectives and teaching points in the training plan, per applicable training standards
Reporting student progress, issues and deficiencies relative to the course delivery
Ability to work autonomously to tackle a broad scope of customer requirements
Ability to work independently
Ability to deliver synthetic environment training using simulators and other tools
Ability to contribute to development of teaching aids and courseware
Mandatory qualifications:
Previous Military experience as a senior TACCO (ACSO)
Superior interpersonal and communication skills required
Formal training in Instructional Techniques
Experience with authoring and amending multi-media instructional courseware
Familiar with quality standards, training plans, and training media used to ensure teaching points are met per Training Standards
Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or with a valid Work Permit
Capable of obtaining and maintaining both Controlled Goods Clearance and a Level II NATO Secret security clearance is required
Desirable competencies:
Verbal French skills as a second language
Minimum 10 years related experience as an AESOp within the Military
Previous Military experience as an AESOp / TACCO instructor
Airbus 295 aircraft experience
