We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to support the planning and execution of enterprise-level network infrastructure deployments. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with a technical background in networking or IT infrastructure and a strong interest in project management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the end-to-end management of network deployment projects across multiple locations.
Collaborate with technical teams—including network engineers, systems administrators, and cybersecurity professionals—to drive project deliverables.
Support the development of project documentation, including timelines, task lists, project charters, risk registers, and resource plans.
Monitor and report on project milestones, deliverables, and overall progress to internal stakeholders.
Coordinate vendor communications and track procurement of networking hardware and software.
Proactively identify, log, and escalate risks, issues, or delays to senior project managers.
Ensure adherence to internal governance, compliance standards, and security protocols.
Contribute to the implementation of networking equipment (e.g., switches, routers, firewalls) in collaboration with deployment teams.
Organize and facilitate project meetings, including agenda preparation, note-taking, and tracking follow-up actions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in project coordination or project management, preferably in IT infrastructure or networking environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, VLANs, switches, routers, firewalls).
Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, or Asana.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Highly organized, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in team settings.
