About the Role:
Our client in the financial services sector are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Analyst to join our team on a 3-month contract. This hybrid role requires strong accounting expertise, particularly in full-cycle accounting, to support our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle accounting, including general ledger maintenance, month-end and year-end closings, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Conduct variance analysis and support budget preparation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.
• Assist with internal and external audits as required.
• Utilize Microsoft 365 tools for data analysis, reporting, and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Active Reliability Security Clearance is mandatory

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation (or working towards CPA) is an asset.
• Proven experience in full-cycle accounting.
• Bilingualism in French is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
