Are you a strategic technology leader with a passion for building high-performing architecture and project delivery functions? Our client—a confidential and well-established digital organization—is seeking an Executive Director, Architecture & PMO to lead enterprise-wide transformation and build scalable, secure, and future-forward technology solutions. 

About the Role 

This executive role will report directly to the SVP of Data Analytics & Operations and be responsible for driving the enterprise architecture strategy and project delivery governance across a portfolio that spans marketing technology, loyalty ecosystems, data platforms, and fraud/security systems. 

This is a unique opportunity to build and scale a blended in-house and partner delivery team, bring strategic technical capabilities closer to business stakeholders, and drive innovation at the intersection of architecture, cloud, DevOps, and agile delivery. 

  • Lead the Architecture & PMO Function: Define and execute enterprise architecture frameworks, front-door project intake, and end-to-end delivery processes.
  • Manage a Complex Portfolio: Oversee 25+ active technology projects across critical areas including data infrastructure, partner onboarding, customer platforms, and security.
  • Strategic Planning: Align technical execution with business priorities through cross-functional engagement with marketing, product, and operations leaders.
  • Innovation Leadership: Assess and adopt emerging technologies (cloud, DevOps, APIs, Salesforce ecosystem, loyalty, fraud/security tech).
  • Team Building: Mentor and scale a hybrid team of architects, business analysts, and project managers.
  • Governance & Compliance: Maintain technology compliance with security and devopsbest practices, and ensure disciplined delivery using Agile/SAFe and Waterfall frameworks. 

What the Executive Director, Architecture & PMO will bring:  

  • 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience in architecture and project delivery.
  • Strong background leading enterprise-scale transformations in industries such as loyalty, banking, telco, or fintech.
  • Deep technical fluency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), API architecture, DevOps integration, and agile methodologies.
  • Experience managing both internal teams and third-party vendors in hybrid delivery models.
  • Proven success engaging cross-functional stakeholders and aligning IT strategy with business roadmaps.
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, PMP, SAFe Agile, or AWS/Azure Architect are a strong asset.
