Description:
This role involves the development, delivery, and support of Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) applications and solutions that contribute to operational success and the achievement of broader organizational objectives. It also includes providing expertise in system security across all maintained applications and solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
Identify future business needs based on current enterprise architecture, conduct gap analyses, define technology architecture requirements, and develop migration strategies.
Evaluate the feasibility of transitioning from the current to the target architecture, identify potential risks, and provide recommendations to mitigate those risks.
Monitor business and technology trends to identify opportunities for improvement; advise senior leadership on emerging ICT trends and their strategic impact; model scenarios and propose enhancements to architecture and infrastructure, including alternative solutions and approaches.
Develop and prioritize an architectural evolution plan, and lead its development and/or implementation.
Oversee the creation and execution of architectural improvement plans.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to support the organization's ability to carry out these activities independently
Education
A university degree in a related business or technology field OR
A two-year college diploma in a related field plus 2 years of relevant experience OR
A university degree in any field plus 5 years of relevant experience OR
15 years of relevant work experience without a post-secondary credential
