Agilus is recruiting for a Project Engineer in the oil & gas industry in Calgary, Alberta. You will: Champion safety and process safety in all engineering work. Lead the engineering and execution of new well equip and tie-in projects, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery. Manage engineering consultants and EPC firms to deliver high-quality designs and execution plans. Coordinate vendors, supply chain, and equipment procurement to align with project schedules. Oversee regulatory applications and licensing to support project approvals and compliance. Support full field development planning, including gathering system design and infrastructure optimization. Develop and refine cost estimates, and benchmark project performance to ensure peer competitiveness. Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and internal safety requirements. Successful candidates will have: Eight or more years of relevant operations & facility and engineering experience. Professional Engineer sanctioned by APEGA with ability to authenticate mechanical engineering deliverables Knowledge and application of frequently used codes (ASME B31.3, CSA Z662 etc.) Working knowledge of upstream oil and gas industry and facility design Strong communication skills with an ability to influence multi-disciplinary teams Strong troubleshooting skills with an ability to make timely and consistent decisions on a broad variety of topics Must be able to multi-task effectively and manage competing deadlines Total rewards: Competitive compensation 12 months contract position Fully office role
