Agilus is recruiting for a Financial Analyst III in the oil, gas and utilities industry in Chatham, Ontario. A typical day: Summarize and reconcile financial costs for monthly reporting Upload financial data and ensure supporting documentation is complete and accurate Prepare and post journal entries Code and process invoices accurately Conduct account reconciliations and perform financial analysis Provide support in drafting and reviewing legal contracts Assist with year-end closing activities and financial reporting Respond to ad-hoc financial and operational inquiries as required The successful candidate brings: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field 4+ years of experience in energy conservation or a related industry Proficient in Excel and Power BI, with strong data analysis skills Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis Excellent problem-solving, judgment, and critical thinking abilities Detail-oriented with strong time management and multitasking skills Effective communicator with the ability to work independently and in teams Willingness to travel within Southwestern Ontario Total rewards: Hybrid work model - 2 days work from home 40 hours a week with the option to work 8am-4:30pm, 8:30am-5:00pm or 9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday Be apart of a well known organization and dynamic team 1 year contract with potential opportunity for extension We want to connect with you!
