Our leading consulting client is hiring a Generative AI Developer on behalf of a major bank. This hybrid role, based in Toronto, offers an exciting opportunity to work on AI-powered, cloud-native solutions at the forefront of innovation in financial services.
6-Month Term Contract
Hourly Rate: $40-50/hr
Location: Hybrid - 3 days a week (Downtown Toronto)
We are seeking a highly skilled developer with deep experience in Azure and OpenAI technologies to help design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in software development, cloud architecture, and machine learning, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, AI-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-powered applications using Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Search, Azure AI Services, and ChatGPT APIs
- Architect end-to-end solutions leveraging Azure App Services, Azure Data Lake, and other key Azure components
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to integrate AI models into real-world applications
- Implement and fine-tune Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines with semantic search capabilities
- Write clean, efficient backend code using Python and Java
- Develop and integrate Power BI dashboards for AI-generated business insights
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance in a dynamic environment
- Ensure all development aligns with cloud security, compliance, and governance best practices
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to technical leadership and mentorship within the team
