Equinix is hiring a Sustainability Senior Analyst in the Sustainability Program Office to support Equinix in achieving our climate ambitions. This individual will report to the Director of Sustainability Technology within the Sustainability Program Office and will partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive the company-wide decarbonization strategies to meet our climate targets and commitments. Candidates will have a strong grasp of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting practices and key decarbonization levers within the ICT sector and are comfortable working cross-functionally to drive results. Responsibilities: Support and facilitate data collection and data management pertaining to sustainability initiatives and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting, reporting, and forecasting Engage with environmental sustainability leads to quantify carbon reduction initiatives, develop internal carbon reduction targets, and measure performance against these goals across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions Develop and implement internal tracking and reporting mechanisms to ensure senior leadership is regularly updated on progress Assist in the development and maintenance of internal carbon analytics tools to support internal teams with the prioritization of decarbonization strategies, and measure performance of projects Communicate key activities, progress, and outcomes of sustainability initiatives to stakeholders and prepare reports in compliance with relevant standards. Develop strategic roadmaps for long-term initiatives, aligning with corporate goals and industry standards. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in corporate sustainability and GHG accounting B.S. degree in relevant STEM discipline or equivalent experience (master's degree preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to translate complex sustainability topics and datasets into concise and actionable insights across a broad range of audiences Working knowledge of sustainability programs specific to energy, environment and emissions and how they are interrelated (e.g. TCFD, CDP, GRI, The Greenhouse Gas Protocol, Science-based Targets Initiative, ISSB, UK TPT etc.) Aptitude and excitement to project manage various cross-functional workstreams while engaging a variety of teams at different levels Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams with competing and sometimes urgent deadlines and experience influencing upwards to keep programs and projects moving Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are: California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $100,000 to $150,000 per year Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $90,000 to $136,000 per year Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position may be offered in other locations.
