Bayshore Medical Personnel is currently seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Oromocto, New Brunswick who has a minimum of three (3) years of Pharmacy Assistant experience, and an interest in providing healthcare services to a unique patient population!
Under the direction of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Assistant will assist in providing pharmacy services such as: compounding, packaging and labeling pharmaceutical products, maintaining prescription records, and conducting inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of three (3) years of Pharmacy Assistant experience within the last five (5) years providing direct patient care, and working in one or more clinical settings, such as a hospital or community setting.
Candidates must also have:
* Current certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent
- Diploma in a Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician program from a post-secondary school is a strong asset
Other Requirements (facilitated by Bayshore during onboarding):
- Current N95 mask fit certificate CSA Standards Z94.4 (within 2 years)
- Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) Certification (within 2 years)
