The role we are offering:

Support and influence the various actions and strategies of the purchasing department. This involves financial, logistical, ERP system analyses, and routine operational tasks. The goal is to improve current and forecast visibility to increase the department’s efficiency.

Job Description:

  • Support and implement improvements impacting efficiency through the analysis of current data and processes.
  • Propose new ways to approach operational tasks through new processes or mechanisms.
  • Develop and support analytical tools to guide strategy.
  • Periodically present data trends and propose corrective actions to achieve objectives.
  • Analyze budget variances monthly and take necessary corrective measures.
  • Develop various analysis files using the available tools.

The passionate individual we are looking for possesses:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
  • Bilingual (English and French).
  • Three to five years of experience in a company as an analyst.
  • Strong analytical skills required.
  • Experience in budget and cost analysis.
  • Ability to thrive in an often fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Results-oriented with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to find solutions and make recommendations.
  • Creative mind / able to think outside-the-box.
  • Responsible and autonomous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word and Outlook) and ability to learn new applications with ease.
  • Ability to interface at all levels of the organization.
  • Keen business sense and sound judgement.
  • Detail oriented.
