Our client in the Non-Profit space is hiring a creative and data-driven Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist to lead and execute integrated marketing campaigns that support our strategic goals, including revenue generation. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled communicator and digital strategist with strong technical skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a measurable impact.
This is a hybrid role based in downtown Toronto, requiring onsite presence three days per week, with the potential for extension.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead the execution of multi-channel marketing and communications plans across email, web, and social media platforms
- Develop and execute e-blast marketing campaigns, Google search/display ads, and organic and paid social media campaigns
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and adjust strategies to optimize performance
- Prepare campaign performance reports and leverage data insights to inform future marketing decisions
- Create compelling digital content to support campaigns, programs, and organizational goals
- Help manage and monitor social media accounts, including community engagement and content scheduling
- Optimize the website for SEO and update it in collaboration with an external web developer
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience developing and executing organic and paid integrated, multi-channel marketing and communications campaigns
- Proven experience setting and analyzing KPIs to guide campaign strategy
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong technical knowledge in digital marketing platforms, including Google and social media platforms, and in WordPress, Canva, and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in email marketing tools and analytics reporting
- Technical knowledge of social media creation and publishing tools (e.g., Loomly, Hootsuite, Buffer)
- Strong project management skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
Preferred Assets
- Experience with Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge/NXT
- Relevant post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Previous experience in the nonprofit sector
- Experience in science communications
