Agilus is recruiting for an Appraiser in the Collision industry in Keswick, Ontario. Appraiser is responsible for building customer confidence and trust by providing a complete evaluation of the collision damage to the vehicle, leading to the creation of a detailed repair plan. A typical day: Compile a detailed list of all parts and materials required for complete repair, as well as shop operations required Main point of contact for customers and insurance adjusters Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders while ensuring a thorough and precise assessment of the vehicle's collision damage. Write estimates as required for scheduled appointments, walk-ins and Dealerships as assigned Responsible for assessing collision damage and capturing photographs of the vehicle before, during, and after the disassembly process Conduct a thorough visual examination and assessment of the vehicle, determining the nature of the collision and the overall areas of damage Creation and communication of the vehicle repair work plan Successful candidates will have: Strong organizational, prioritization and multitasking skills with ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environment 2+ years experience as an Appraiser/Estimator in collision industry or Service Advisor from a Dealership or Server/Bartending background Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail, be self-driven and motivated all in a fast paced work environment Solid independent problem solving and decision making skills Comfortable utilizing Microsoft Office Audatex/Capture/Mitchell software would be highly desired Total rewards: Immediate permanent position Monday - Friday 8am – 5pm on-site Comprehensive benefits after 3 months probation period Competitive vacation allotment Competitive salary plus quarterly bonus eligibility Enjoy a positive atmosphere and corporate culture where you will be treated like family Join a company that prides itself on honesty, integrity and teamwork and is committed to the growth and development of their team members and promoting from within Regular casual and planned social events to recognize and celebrate staff
