Credit Risk Analyst

We are partnering with a Schedule III Bank to hire a Credit Risk Analyst to join their growing Risk Management team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity ideal for recent finance graduates or individuals with up to 2 years of experience in credit risk, lending, or financial analysis. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and mentorship, gaining hands-on experience with credit review processes, portfolio monitoring, and internal risk assessments within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the preparation of annual and quarterly credit risk reviews for corporate borrowers
Analyze company financials, monitor covenant compliance, and assess risk indicators
Conduct sector and peer benchmarking to support internal credit decisions
Assist with the maintenance of internal credit ratings and portfolio risk reports
Collaborate with credit associates and internal teams to support decision-making and committee prep
Contribute to ad hoc credit risk projects, dashboards, and internal reporting initiatives
What You Bring:
A completed university degree in business or finance (required)
0–2 years of experience in credit risk, lending, or financial analysis (internship/co-op welcome)
Strong technical proficiency in Excel; hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, or Bloomberg is an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, regulated environment
