Agilus is recruiting for a Project Engineer/E.I.T. (Compression) in the Gas/Utiltiies Industry in Calgary, Alberta.
Our gas/utilities client is hiring for a Project Engineer/E.I.T. in Calgary or Edmonton to support a pipeline project. This role spans all project phases, from Front-End Engineering Design to Commissioning, offering a hands-on opportunity to grow your engineering and project management skills in the energy sector.
A typical day:
Coordinate project activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of engineering and construction milestones.
Participate in technical reviews of design drawings, specifications, and procurement documents.
Maintain organized project documentation, including data management and document control.
Support cost tracking, scheduling, and risk mitigation efforts throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and update engineering control documents and project reports.
Collaborate with consultants, operations staff, and internal teams to align project goals and execution.
Successful candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in engineering or project execution.
Registered with APEGA as an EIT or P.Eng.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CSA Z662, ASME B31.3, and API codes is an asset.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to the project site west of Edmonton as needed.
Experience with gas compression equipment or oil and gas facility design is a strong asset.
Total rewards:
$35.00 - $42.00 hourly
Hybrid work model.
