Business Excellence and Risk is a team whose purpose is to act as the engine that drives organizational alignment and structure through collaboration, knowledge sharing and best practices resulting in

situational awareness leading to a business environment without surprises. To do this we collaborate with stakeholders from around the world, across multiple functions, leveraging

knowledge, skills, innovation, and a continuous improvement mindset to deliver:

  • Transformational changes to business-critical processes and tools

• State of the art data collection and visualization capabilities that drive data centric decision-making

Your Mission:

As part of the Business Excellence and Risk group your role will be critical in contributing to the teams’ capability by:

             

Training and supporting regional teams in the initial implementation of Earned Value Management (EVM):

  • Development of critical EVM system elements such as the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Financial Breakdown Structure (FBS), Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS), and program schedule to support EVM requirements
  • Configuration and maintenance of the EVM system toolset
  • Set up data mappings and variance reporting thresholds
  • Ensure data and reports are being accurately extracted from the EVM system.

Leading or supporting the monthly EVM operational activities:

  • Lead the Integrated Baseline Reviews
  • Coordinate and lead Cost Account Manager (CAM) meetings.
  • Perform data quality checks and resolve anomalies.
  • Produce performance reports for all levels of governance

Providing expert analysis:

  • Analyze program performance KPIs and earned value data.
  • Assist program managers and CAMs in interpreting performance data.
  • Identify significant variances and consolidate variance analyses

Continuously improving our EVM system methodology:

  • Identify and implement EVM system continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience:

• College or University degree in management, a technical specialization, or equivalent experience

• Good communication skills and ability to present material to a wide range of audiences

• Advanced Power BI user skills

• Ability to work collaboratively across organizations

• Strong understanding of EVM methodologies and concepts

• Experience in project management and finance a strong asset

• Working level proficiency in Planisware, Oracle and Jira an asset

• Project management certification (e.g., CAMP, PMP) an asset
