We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps / Site Reliability Engineer to lead efforts in building secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring both the security and reliability of our systems by embedding security practices into the CI/CD lifecycle while optimizing infrastructure for performance, scalability, and uptime. This is a 6 months contract, fully remote.
This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in both DevOps and security practices, who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys collaboration across development, operations, and security teams.
Key Responsibilities:
DevSecOps
Design and implement security controls in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
Conduct static (SAST) and dynamic (DAST) security testing
Automate vulnerability scanning and compliance checks
Collaborate with developers to enforce secure coding practices
Manage secrets, access controls, and cloud security posture
Site Reliability Engineering
Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of systems in production
Design and monitor SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs
Build observability dashboards and proactive alerting
Conduct incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration (IaC)
Requirements:
5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles
Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and CI/CD automation
Strong scripting in Bash, Python, or Groovy
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Familiarity with security tooling: Snyk, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Trivy, etc.
Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., finance, healthcare, or government)
Strong understanding of network, OS, and application-level security
Nice to Have:
Experience with infrastructure-as-code scanning (e.g., Checkov)
Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and threat modeling
Certifications: AWS/Azure Security, CKS, OSCP, or SRE-related
