We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with solid working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 to support a key transformation initiative. The successful candidate will assist the project team in setting up and administering Dynamics 365 environments, developing deployment scripts, and integrating them into our broader DevOps infrastructure. Responsibilities will also include performing standard DevOps tasks such as managing Azure storage accounts, virtual machines, certificates, and monitoring tools. Strong documentation skills are essential, as the role involves creating detailed technical materials to facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Minimum Requirements○ Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field).
○ Minimum of 5 years of relevant DevOps experience.
○ Direct experience with Dynamics 365 administration
○ Strong Experience with programming or scripting languages (.Net, Python, Powershell, PowerCLI,
Javascript)
○ In-depth knowledge of operating systems and system administration, including a solid knowledge of
Linux, UNIX and Windows systems and virtualization technologies (VMWare).
○ In-depth knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins, Ansible, Azure DevOps etc).
○ Strong experience provisioning, operating, and managing Azure environments (Azure certification
is a major asset).
○ In-depth knowledge of infrastructure configurations, network protocols, security and performance
monitoring.
○ Keen interest in agile methodologies (SCRUM certification is an asset).
Responsibilities: The DevOps/Dynamics 365 admin is responsible for the following components:
● Develop and monitor metrics to measure the overall progress of the DevOps journey
● Administer our Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments and the related infrastructure (storage accounts,
virtual machines, certificates, etc).
● Establish our release management and support process for the Horizon project, which leverages Microsoft
Dynamics 365 in collaboration with the Enterprise Application Development and Enterprise Data
Management teams. Ensure scalability to other products and projects.
● Monitor our Dynamics 365 and related environments to identify and address issues.
● Reduce complexity, enhance communication and maintain high-quality deployment artifacts through-out the
entire software deployment pipeline in collaboration with the Architecture, Development, Operations and
Support teams to ensure alignment.
● Implement and expand automated deployment and testing tools to reduce errors, optimize delivery times
and improve customer experience.
● Incorporate “Secure by Design” concepts, practices and tools into the software development lifecycle and
deployment pipeline.
● Guide creation of reusable automation libraries and APIs.
● Support the creation of architectural diagrams and design specifications to aid automation.
● Establish, streamline and document application platforms and products support processes
