Our mission-driven client is dedicated to supporting communities in times of need. This role is part of a dynamic operations and finance team and is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable with administrative work involving data and numbers.
Location: Saint John, New Brunswick (On-site)
Hourly Rate: $22.30/Hr
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5/6 PM EST (some weekend shifts may be required on a rotating basis)
Contract Length: 3 months with the potential for extension
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, document organization, and record-keeping.
- Maintain and update spreadsheets, databases, and internal trackers.
- Cross-check records to identify and escalate discrepancies.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners to gather or clarify missing documentation.
- Assist with internal audits or reviews by preparing requested documents and resolving inconsistencies.
- Liaise with vendors, including hotels, to confirm and follow up on information.
What We're Looking For:
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, clerical, or data entry role (experience in finance settings is an asset).
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in handling records and numbers.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort using Outlook and other MS Office applications.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (certificate, diploma, or degree) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Candidates who are meticulous, organized, and adaptable will thrive in this role. Open to recent graduates or students with relevant experience.
Additional Information:
- This is a fully on-site position located on the east side of Saint John, New Brunswick (free parking available).
- Equipment will be provided for successful candidates.
- A 7-hour workday with a 1-hour unpaid lunch; overtime may be required occasionally.
