Agilus is recruiting for a Bilingual Admin Assistant - 12 Month Contract in the Educational Field in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The Bilingual Administrative Assistant will provide general administrative support assisting with daily tasks and departmental coordination
A typical day:
Prepare and proofread a variety of materials, including agendas, reports, letters, memos, and other documents
Compile and organize materials for meetings, presentations, and conferences
Maintain an organized filing system for easy access and proper archiving of records
Greet visitors, answer incoming calls, and handle mail distribution and general correspondence
Coordinate meeting logistics, including room setup, technology, and refreshments as needed
Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned
The successful candidate brings:
Diploma or degree in Office Administration or a related field
Proven experience in administrative support roles
Bilingual in French and English with strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and typing
Skilled in handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
Total rewards:
12-months contract position
Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (Hours may change in the summer)
35 hours per week
