The Technical Deployment Management team focuses on the physical implementation of all deployments (including EIS and change orders) in the data center. As a Technical Deployment Analyst, you will plan, monitor and manage data center customer implementations from initiation through completion, including the oversight and coordination with vendors. You will also deliver data center project implementations on-time according to customers' specifications, meeting customers' and Equinix's quality standards.  Responsibilities Customer Order: Requirements & Support Documenting and validating customer's order requirements Develops technical knowledge base of the Data Centers Customer Order: Project Planning Creates task list to document and understand the customer's deployment Development of project implementation plans Customer Order: Project Implementation and Delivery Works on assigned project activities Inventory auditing and records keeping during project implementation Cross Functional, Customer Support & Customer Communications Investigations and resolutions of customers' and cross-functional issues during project implementation Follow Equinix Operations Policies and Processes Process Support/Optimization Follows business and/or technical processes within the Data Center Identify opportunities for improvement for basic or narrowly focused processes (e.g. Order fulfillment process) Systems Support Utilize business systems (i.e. Siebel Fulfillment) within Equinix Data Support/Analysis Supports the team in ensuring Operations provisioning data is accurately input into Equinix business systems (i.e. Siebel Fulfillment) Supports any physical audit efforts Vendor Support Supports the team and Data Center Operations Support on any required Vendor support Qualifications Demonstrated operations / project management experience in a Data Center environment Bachelors degree in IT-related or Electrical / Mechanical Engineering field preferred Bilingual Canadian French a plus Translated Version Résumé du poste L’équipe des déploiements techniques est responsable de la mise en place physique de tous les déploiements (y compris ceux d’Equinix Infrastructure Services et les demandes de modifications) dans les centres de données. À titre d’analyste des déploiements techniques, vous planifiez, surveillez et gérez la mise en œuvre des projets des clients, du début jusqu’à la fin, y compris la surveillance et la coordination des fournisseurs. Vous exécutez les projets des clients dans les délais prescrits selon les spécifications des clients et conformément aux normes de qualité établies par le client et par Equinix.
