Are you looking for a Receptionist Administrator role? Let's Connect Agilus is recruiting for a Receptionist in the Educational Field in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Receptionist acts as the first point of contact for an organization, managing front desk operations and providing administrative support. A typical day: Greet visitors, answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries. Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, manage office mail, and prepare documents Make sure the phone line and the phone line voicemail is updated Maintain records, file documents, perform data entry, and manage office supplies. Serves as liaison with contract hotel regarding accommodations for meeting attendees Special projects and other duties as assigned Maintain a clean and organized reception area and assist with general office duties Responsible for building security by following procedures and ensuring visitors sign in and out of the building Successful candidates will have: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Diploma in Office, Business Administration or related field Proficient with Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Excellent typing skills Superior organizational, high attention to detail skills Ability to manage high level of confidential documents and information Ability to multitask and prioritize Able to work in a fast-paced work environment Total rewards: 12-months contract position Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (Hours change in the summer) 35 hours per week Start date: July 2025 Pay Rate: $20 - $25 (depending on experience) Great and positive work environment Ready!
