Our client, a globally recognized brand in the food and beverage retail space, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Supply Chain Analyst for a contract opportunity based in Toronto. This is an exciting chance to work on impactful supply chain initiatives within a high-performing team environment. The ideal candidate is analytical, process-oriented, and brings deep expertise in distribution, transportation, and cross-functional project management.
Position Summary:
As a Senior Supply Chain Analyst, you’ll support large-scale logistics and operational projects with the goal of driving efficiencies, optimizing costs, and improving service levels across the supply chain. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while also helping shape long-term strategy through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze supply chain and logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Optimize transportation and distribution networks for cost savings and enhanced delivery performance.
Collaborate with internal teams and 3PL partners to manage logistics operations and troubleshoot issues.
Lead and support strategic projects aimed at boosting supply chain scalability and performance.
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track project and supply chain performance.
Perform root cause analyses and recommend solutions for operational challenges or disruptions.
Ensure all supply chain activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, particularly in distribution and transportation.
Proven experience managing cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and Power BI.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and TMS/WMS platforms.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team setting.
Preferred Assets:
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Exposure to international logistics and customs regulations.
Advanced Excel capabilities including macros and complex data modeling.
