Key Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
- Actively engaging with clients and responsible for expanding our presence in the Western Canada marketplace across both IT and non-IT staffing verticals, with a strong focus on expanding business across the private sector.
- Identifying new clients and business opportunities to pursue.
- Listening and drawing out the concerns and problems of clients to identify staffing solutions.
- Calling into former clients to assess current business needs.
- Utilizing LinkedIn to identify prospects and set up meetings.
- Preparing and delivering presentations on staffing services.
- Preparing and reporting on goals, sales, and prospects.
- Participating in virtual and in-person networking events and conferences on behalf of the company.
- Negotiating and closing deals; handling complaints or objections.
- Pursuing Vendor Agreements and staying on top of renewal dates.
- Retaining clients by providing superior customer service and staffing support.
- Ensuring we don’t miss opportunities for new business with existing accounts.
- Mushrooming existing users to generate new business and grow sales.
- Cross-selling to identify opportunities for other divisions.
- Marketing strong candidate resources based on client needs.
- Resolving any issues that come up throughout the placement process.
- Conducting after placement service calls and visits with both candidates and clients.
- Visiting top users on a quarterly basis.
- Adhering to our high level of service standards and delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
Must have:
- 3+ years of direct experience within the staffing industry
- Passion for business development; creating and fostering new client relationships
- You are a driven professional who is self-motivated for achieving and exceeding individual and team goals
- Focused on driving client/candidate success and delivering the ultimate customer experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines
- Natural curiosity about people, their backgrounds and experience
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Comfortable working from a remote setting with frequent in-person and virtual client meetings
- Technical aptitude in the use of business software
Education and Certifications
Minimum education required: University Degree or College Diploma
