Our client working in the Non-Profit industry is hiring for a Labor Relations Assistant to join their team on a contract basis until December 2025.
This is working in a hybrid model, working 5 days onsite every two week period.
This role provides high-level administrative support and helps manage files related to Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB) appeals.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and service-driven team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting others.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to WSIB-related inquiries by phone and email; direct to appropriate team members.
Manage and organize digital and physical files.
Draft, format, transcribe, and proofread letters, memos, and legal documents.
Support document preparation and filing for appeal processes.
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics.
Handle general office tasks: mail processing, document scanning, supply requests, and database updates.
Provide administrative support to Labour Relations Officers and legal staff.
Help with ongoing projects and contribute to overall team effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Administrative Services, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years’ experience in an administrative or legal assistant role.
Knowledge of WSIB processes is an asset.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Comfortable working with staff at all levels and providing exceptional internal service.
