This is a great opportunity for a senior payroll professional ready to step into a leadership role and make a meaningful impact in a complex, multi-jurisdictional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee full-cycle payroll for employees across multiple provinces and entities (union/non-union, hourly/salaried).
- Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance with legislation, and timely remittance of all third-party payments (e.g., CRA, unions, garnishments).
- Manage payroll system data, GL postings, reconciliations, and ad hoc reporting.
- Administer group benefits plans, lead annual renewals, and ensure compliance with policies and agreements.
- Act as the go-to resource for payroll-related inquiries and liaise with Finance, HR, and Operations teams.
- Prepare year-end payroll reconciliations, T4s, ROEs, and support budgeting efforts.
- Maintain and enhance payroll procedures and documentation to support scale and efficiency.
Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of experience leading payroll operations.

- Detail-oriented, analytical, and confident in managing multi-entity complexities.
