Reporting to the Unified Fibre Planning Senior Manager (West), the Fibre Specialist plays a key role in delivering fibre optic solutions and supporting network growth across Rogers’ cable territory. Working closely with network designers and planning specialists, this role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of HFC and fibre optic plant design, and experience supporting technical teams and troubleshooting fibre circuits in a dynamic, evolving environment.

- Design and deliver fibre optic projects of varying complexity, ensuring alignment with network growth and technology advancements
- Develop and communicate high-level cost estimates and network deployment standards
- Analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Plan and document end-to-end fibre solutions, ensuring data integrity of existing fibre assets
- Provide detailed instructions to internal teams for successful project execution
- Review business and engineering requirements to deliver reliable fibre solutions
- Recommend design alternatives to optimize network performance and scalability
- Prepare project status reports and communicate updates to management and stakeholders
