We are seeking a Middleware Consultant with 5–10 years of experience to support enterprise middleware platforms, focusing on stability, performance, upgrades, and automation. The ideal candidate will contribute to system improvements, ensure high availability, and provide hands-on support for core middleware infrastructure.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support patching, installation, upgrades, and configuration of middleware technologies
• Provide operational support for middleware environments including Oracle WebLogic and IBM MQ
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in middleware infrastructure
• Participate in platform evolution, upgrades, and maintenance planning
• Contribute to middleware automation and continuous improvement efforts
• Monitor service levels and report on operational metrics
• Follow structured work plans, report progress, and escalate issues as necessary

Qualifications and Skills

• 5–10 years of experience with Oracle WebLogic (v12.2+), Oracle Fusion Middleware, and Oracle Internet Directory
• 5–10 years of experience with IBM MQ in enterprise environments
• Experience in patching, installation, configuration, and operational support of middleware systems
• Eligibility for Secret Clearance (Canadian Citizenship required)
• Familiarity with IBM DataPower, IBM DataStage, JBOSS, or IBM WebSphere Portal
• Linux/Unix administration experience
• Experience with middleware automation and scripting
